What can I say about this wonderfully quirky little girl! When Skip arrived at the Sanctuary it was obvious that Skippy was one confident and sassy lady, Skippy went straight to the couch! Skippy has been living in a foster home for the last few weeks with small children quite happily so would be fine with kiddies.

Skip is a super fun little lady who loves to play games with toys or sleep on the couch with you. Skip has met other breeds of dogs and we’ve had no major issues, she politely interacts with most breeds although has been a touch growly towards the smaller dogs.
If you like a good laugh too, Skip is the one for you, she keeps us laughing ALL THE TIME here with her weird ideas and quirky character. She is also very smart! Skip would love to find a family that would be keen to do some training and keep her busy with all sorts of enrichment games.

While Skip has a generally low prey drive overall, she has been cat tested and unfortunately is not cat friendly.

She would be suited to almost any housing situation so long as he gets plenty of walkies as she can be quite an active girl. Skip is house trained and I haven’t ever had any accidents in the house with her. Skip is not yet a Greenhound but we believe she would pass the test with flying colours. She will need to remain on his lead at all times while out as she doesn’t have a recall yet and being a greyhound can zoom off in a flash. I would recommend avoiding dog parks in the early days of her adjusting to her new family and to avoid her getting too overwhelmed.

If you’re looking for a very sweet and hilarious houndie girl who has impeccable leash manners and is happy to go for a walk or stay in and snuggle, and is FULL of love, Skip would love to hear from you.
