About Tortellini

PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM AND JUNK FOLDERS FOR YOUR APPLICATION FORM ONCE YOU HAVE SENT YOUR INQUIRY EMAIL
Tortellini nicknamed Torti enjoys playing outdoors with his brother Cannelloni with boundless amounts of energy, chasing each other, balls, and rolling around in the grass. Tortellini like to retire for a rest snuggled up on anything warm and comfortable including his brother.
Tortellini loves to be around people, wanting to gain their attention. He enjoys interacting with adults and loves an energetic child to run around with. Tortellini and his brother can often be found playing happily outside but also love regular human interaction. When Tortellini is all warn out, he will find a warm place to curl up and have a revitalising short snooze to then be back at it again.
Obedience - Tortellini is still a young boy and is learning the right way to behave, he will need obedience training and further socialisation. He is very inquisitive with other dogs with a few separate interactions with different sizes and breeds of other dogs with positive outcomes. Tortellini is still getting used to lead walking, with a lot of sniffing.Hes a young pup so will integrate well to a family with another dog
Sleeping - Tortellini has been sleeping in a crate with his brother since being in foster care with no issues at all sleeping through the night. Taken to the toilet around 10:30pm and usually hear some activity by 7am.
Toilet Training has been very successful with Tortellini, he has had very minimal accidents inside with regular outside toileting opportunities. He also has started showing signs of needing to go to the toilet while lingering around the back door when inside. This along with toileting after long naps, eating and drinking he will have it down pat in no time. (Tortellini can hold on overnight with no accidents)
Food â Tortellini loves his food, usually has his biggest meal first thing in the morning then grazing for the rest of the day and usually a smaller meal at night. He currently is purely on Savour Life for puppies.
Car Travel â Tortellini has had a few short car trips in the back seat and car travel crate. He does prefer being the backseat with a few reassurances pats.
Ideal Home
A med to large yard with plenty of shade and shelter and grass to play on
- ongoing puppy school to further his training and socialisation
-daily walks (shorts walks while still a puppy)
- If you have a dog they must be female. The current resident dog must be of a temperament that can adapt to puppy development, and she must be well socialised with other dogs (do not apply if your dog has not been socialised recently)
- New family must understand that puppies that time to settle and all things puppies including crying, chewing and training is a must)
Ongoing socialization is extremely important with people and other dogs throughout his entire life to ensure he matures into a well grounded boy as he matures
Children in the home will be ok but we are seeking mature and dog Savvy children
