About California
California is a handsome 11 week old Bull Arab x. Full of puppy energy, California loves to explore. He is an adventurous and playful boy. He is extremely affectionate and confident when trying new things.
The stunning and cheeky boy is not a big boy for his age and breed and was one of the smaller of the litter and he currently only weighs in at around 5 kilos so based on this we feel he will only be a med size at full growth
PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM AND JUNK FOLDERS FOR YOUR APPLICATION ONCE YOU HAVE SENT YOUR ENQUIRY EMAIL
OBEDIENCE â California is a well behaved puppy. In foster care, he has had some brief training sessions to learn how to âsitâ. Being so young, California gets easily distracted by other new experiences. He will require further training including attending puppy school in order to further develop his skills. California is very good at keeping himself entertained.
DOG SOCIALISATION â California has been in foster care with his litter mate Dubai. They love to snuggle up next to each other and love to play. Due to his age and being not yet fully vaccinated, California has not been socialised with other dogs outside his foster home.
WALKS â LEAD EXPERIENCE - Due to not yet receiving all of his puppy vaccines, California has not been walked on a lead. He has been wearing a collar and is used to this now
ENRICHMENT â California is motivated by attention, and is always eager to play with his litter mate Dubai or his humans. Due to his age, we have not given him food treats so as to not upset his tummy. He loves to sit with his humans and just generally be around them. California also loves to play with toys, especially things he can chew on or play tug of war with. When playing and seeing his humans, his tail doesnât stop wagging. California is a very happy boy.
VISITORS - California has happily approached all visitors. Like his sister, he can be the teeniest bit shy at first when meeting new people, however warms up to you almost immediately and loves a nice pat and cuddle from visitors. He loves to try lick you. California has confidently interacted with visitors of different ages. He does like to jump and has very sharp puppy teeth.
INSIDE - California has been well behaved when inside. He loves exploring but is usually most interested in being near his humans or litter mate. Being an inquisitive puppy his new family will need to be diligent in keeping him safe from things that may cause harm.
OUTSIDE - California enjoys time both inside and outside the house. He enjoys exploring the outdoors and running around on the grass. He has happily entertained himself outside with his litter mate Dubai by either running, exploring, playing with toys or having a snooze.
SLEEPING HABITS â California has been sleeping inside at night in a crate with his litter mate. He sleeps well and sleeps right through the night. He gets taken outside for toileting as soon as he wakes.
TRAVELLING IN THE CAR - When travelling in the car for his vet appointment, California travelled well in his dog carrier.
FOOD - California has been eating three times a day #Savourlife Gluten & Grain Free for puppies.
TOILETING - As California is only a puppy, he is still working on his toilet training. He is not toilet trained. We have working on this area and encouraging toileting on the grassed area.
Ideal Home
A med to large yard with plenty of shade and shelter and grass to play on
- ongoing puppy school to further his training and socialisation
-daily walks (shorts walks while still a puppy)
- If you have a dog they must be female. The current resident dog must be of a temperament that can adapt to puppy development, and she must be well socialised with other dogs (do not apply if your dog has not been socialised recently)
- New family must understand that puppies that time to settle and all things puppies including crying, chewing and training is a must)
Ongoing socialization is extremely important with people and other dogs throughout his entire life to ensure he matures into a well grounded boy as he matures
Children in the home will be ok but we are seeking mature and dog Savvy children
