About Caleb
Caleb is fun and friendly with everyone - adults, kids, cats, dogs - you name it! He needs his love tank topped up daily with scratches under the chin and along his back.
He likes exploring the outdoors and is a bit of a foodie.
Caleb loooooves playing - with laser pointers, rattle mouseys and rolling things. He is an indoor kitty and is litter trained. Please be aware that a 24-hour cat curfew will be implemented in the City of Knox VIC from October 1. He would potentially be okay in an outdoor enclosure but would need entertainment and stimulation.
His typical day starts with breakfast, followed by exploring the outdoors, sunbaking and napping. Caleb also enjoys running away from the wind and chasing bugs. Then he waits for his humans to come home and eat his dinner.
This lovely gentleman is great with other calm cats and dogs, provided they are given time to get to know each other. He has lived with a dog, and after a few bits on the bum, he told him to respect his space and then they were great mates. Caleb has also been around lots of kids. He loves to snuggle up near them at night, but when young ones are high energy, it can be a bit overwhelming for him.
Caleb's fun and outgoing personality will thrive in an environment with kids (7+ years old) and/or a furry playmate. If that sounds like you, Caleb is your guy!
Medical notes
The vet says he is overweight and is now enduring a bit of portion control, but that won't stop him from meowing for more!
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
