About Eduardo
Eduardo is an affectionate, intelligent, curious, fun, cuddly puppy ready to find his forever home.
He loves to be involved in what ever is happening and would love to start adventures with his new family.
Eduardo likes to be busy but can also settle and likes a sunny spot to relax. He loves a cuddle and would like to be on the sofa next to his foster carer but that is the spot for her own old cranky dog.
He was found at the www.warlu art centre and went into the care of the famous dog lady of Yuendumu in a very remote part of the NT .

Now he has come to Sydney to find his forever home.
We estimate he is about 4 mths old and will eventually weigh approx 20Kg . We can't give any more idea.
Eduardo sleeps alone in his foster carers kitchen through the night and can be left alone for a couple of hours, especially with a tasty treat like a bone or kong.
He is starting to learn to walk on lead and has been relatively relaxed in busy situations for such a young pup.
He is full of beans like any puppy but can also settle by himself in his bed.
He is also getting used to being in the car and learning this is fun.
He has had experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes but not yet met a cat or other pocket pets.
All Camp dogs are such a mix of breeds, each one being unique. So don't bother asking what breed we think he is, because we don't know. You'll be able to play the guess what breed my camp dog is game, for the rest of his life.
We do rehome dogs to apartments.
Eduardo loves food and therefore a treat and praise based training approach will work really well.
He will need to go to further puppy classes and any training will help him become the best dog he can be and bond with his new family.
He comes micro chipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated.
He flew with Emily(now adopted) and Emma (sister, now adopted) from Alice Springs to Sydney.
If you would like to meet him he is in foster care in Kingsford near the Uni of NSW.
PLEASE NOTE
Eduardo is in excellent health. However, as he has come from an area of Australia where there have been cases of Ehrlichiosis,( a brown tick borne disease introduced to Australia in 2020), he and sister are receiving a precautionary course of antibiotics
He has tested negative for the test for Ehrlichiosis

Adoption details
WHEN APPLYING PLEASE PROVIDE ANSWERS TO ALL OF THE QUESTIONS BELOW.
1. Have you had a dog before is so, when, size, and age? (not if you have looked after someone else's dog)
2. Who makes up your home, how old are they, what is their relationship to the applicant, and are they all ready to come to a meet and greet if this is offered?
3 Most dogs, puppies, and young cannot be left alone for long hrs e.g more than 4hrs at a time. How will you deal with this issue?
4 If you want a puppy how will you deal with the work involved i.e. toilet training, chewing, mouthing - those sharp teeth - jumping up, going to puppy classes?
5. How will you cope with all these issues if you have children (how old are your children?)?
6. A dog is not just for the children so why do the parents want the puppy and how will you provide the constant supervision and boundaries needed?
7 Have you considered that a dog or a puppy cannot immediately be taken to a dog park or cafe and need to slowly understand all the new sights, sounds, people, dogs, etc of their new environment?
8 If necessary how will you seek additional one on one training for you and your dog?
9 Where will the dog sleep at night?
10 How will you provide for any veterinary costs?
11. How will you cope with behavior issues should they arise?
12 If you rent have you obtained written approval for a dog?
13 If you own an apartment have you obtained written approval from the body corporate?
14 We cannot provide any more information about the eventual size or breed of the dog. Have you considered this?
15 If you are offered a meet and greet and it is felt by all that the dog or pup is a good fit for your family, we expect you to be ready to take the dog home/adopt at the time.
From what date do you want to adopt?
We cannot hold dogs as space in foster care is needed for other dogs.
Thank you
