Leo is a friendly fellow who likes to be near his humans. He was born with a very short tail and when he gets excited the nub waggles madly.
He is a fast learner who picks up routines and boundaries quickly. Leo can take a little while to settle into a new home but once he does he is the most chilled out fellow.
Leo is friendly with children and currently lives with primary aged kids. He loves to play with other dogs and currently lives with 2 other large male dogs. Leo is friendly with cats and horses after a structured introduction.
Leo tested heartworm positive when he arrived at NQAR. After many months in care he has now completed his treatment. As a result he will require a follow-up heartworm test at our vet in January (included in his adoption).
Leo is $300 to adopt, and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated and given flea, tick and worm preventatives.
If you would like to meet Leo, please contact email adopt@nqar.org.au
