Poppy is a very sweet and gentle girl.

She can be a bit shy and timid when meeting new people but will warm up to you quickly as soon as she trusts you. She is a massive snuggle bug and will happily snuggle with you all day if you let her.

Poppy loves her snuggles so much that it doesn’t take her long to fall asleep and have a bit of a snore. She just wants to be your shadow and follows you wherever you go. She can feel nervous when left alone and may dig holes underneath fences so secure fencing is a must and any holes above the ground must be filled or blocked.

She gets along well with her foster brothers but certainly wouldn’t mind to be the only dog in the house as she loves all the attention and affection from her humans.

Poppy is still learning her basic commands. She can sleep through the night inside her crate and is fully toilet trained. Poppy will need ongoing training to go on walks - she has shown reactive behaviour towards other dogs whilst on lead so will need an adopter willing to work on this with her.

Poppy has so much love to give and deserves a permanent home where she feels safe and loved.

Poppy is $350 to adopt, and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated and given flea, tick and worm preventatives.
