About Macaroni
Macaroni aka Mac
Handsome Mac is full of typical puppy energy. He is a very friendly outgoing puppy and loves meeting people. He likes to be close or at least know where you are but also happy to play independently with his toys. He is a very playful confident little fella. He loves exploring outside and can often be seen helping with the gardening. Inside he loves escaping into the bedrooms and trying to hide from you under the beds lol
This gorgeous Macaroni is a Rottweiler x we think Wolfhound ( according to the pound notes) who currently weighs 8 kilos so based on this we are specializing he will be a large dog as full growth
PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM AND JUNK FOLDERS FOR YOUR APPLICATION ONCE YOU HAVE SENT YOUR ENQUIRY
He has been living with 2 children over 10 and loves a good game of tug of tugofwar. He is desperate to make friends with the resident dog who is not impressed with his energy. Mac did manage to convince him to have a small play and loved it.
Obedience
Mac has learnt to sit and working on stay and come. He responds well to training with treats.
Mac is starting to show good signs towards toilet training and if taken out regularly after eating, drinking and sleeping he knows to toilet outside. He is just starting to occasionally ask to go out. Such a clever boy
As a typical puppy goes Mac is no different and is teething so young chuldeni the home will need to be dog savvy while he goes through this stage of his development
Sleep
Mac likes to sleep in his crate and will take himself there to sleep during the day unless he is too exhausted and falls asleep on the way. He doesn't like sleeping in a laundry separate from the familiar surroundings. He much prefers to sleep in the familiar area he spends his day.
Food
Mac is on a premium diet of #Savourlife Puppy Food for puppies. He will eat eagerly at the start and then gets distracted if you are not near him. He is happier if you are close by. He also likes eating treats stuffed in his toys. They are good to use for his training. He is currently fed 3 times a day and we recommend this during his puppy aging
Hygiene/Care
Mac has had a couple of baths and wasnât too keen to stay in them. But everything is new so I am sure a couple more and he wonât be so keen to get out.
Travel/Car
Mac has been on a few short car trips and is quite at ease travelling. He will just lie down and fall asleep.
Ideal home
A med to large yard with plenty of shade and shelter and grass to play on
- ongoing puppy school to further his training and socialisation
-daily walks (shorts walks while still a puppy)
- If you have a dog they must be female. The current resident dog must be of a temperament that can adapt to puppy development, and she must be well socialised with other dogs (do not apply if your dog has not been socialised recently)
- New family must understand that puppies that time to settle and all things puppies including crying, chewing and training is a must)
Children in the home will be ok but we are seeking mature and dog Savvy children
