About Pippi
Pippi is a Shih Tzu x sweetheart born 1st January 2016.
Pippi is a lovely young lady who loves nothing more than spending time with people. She loves her treats and seems quite eager to please, so training shouldn't be an issue.
Pippi did really well while interacting with other dogs at the facility and appears to be quite social. While she was happy at the facility we are recommending she be the only dog at home as her previous owner mentioned that she did not get along with their Cattle Dog x.
Pip had no interest in the cats at the facility. If you have an existing cat at home we recommend a slow and controlled introduction to ensure everyones safety. She was not good with pocket pets and we're recommending she go to a home with no small animals like guinea pigs/rabbits.
Pippi seems to be ok to be left alone, but is starting to stress a little in the kennel environment. We believe that in a comfortable and loving home, she should settle down, however there may be the potential for some mild anxiety when she is left at home alone for long periods of time.
Pippi is such a sweet and loving girl who wants nothing more than a home she can call her own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Pippi, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Pippi’s adoption fee is $600, and this includes her desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration and she is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Pippi is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
