About Landon
************** PLEASE APPLY AT www.gsrv.com.au ****************************
Landon is a 5-year-old male German Shepherd who is looking for a new family to love him and give him the life he deserves.
Landon is the sweetest boy that is extremely happy to meet new people and soon after meeting them, is leaning into stranger’s legs for more pats and chest rubs. Landon is easy going and a very calm boy, he has never been exposed to children, however he may be suited to living in a home where everyone is over the age of 8 years old.
Landon loves treats… a little too much and hasn’t been getting enough exercise lately. Landon loves going for walks and once the initial excitement has worn off, he walks calmly with his people, greeting everyone on the way past. Landon will need to increase his exercise in his new home as he is carrying a little extra weight.
Landon currently lives with another dog and has previously been social with other dogs when out on a walk, Landon would enjoy living with another chilled-out dog that he can hang out with, he would also be ok as the only dog in his new home if someone is home often. Landon has not been exposed to cats or other small pets.
Landon has always been an outdoor dog; however he is such a people dog and wants to be wherever his people are. Landon would love to be welcomed inside the home with his new family, he would love a big comfy bed of his very own in the loungeroom where he can spend the day curled up snoring away!
Landon isn’t overly interested in toys; he does like to chase a ball but much prefers affection or treats as a motivator. Landon loves water and can often be found chilling out in his shell pool.

Adoption details
We offer a 'Foster to Adopt' program. This means that the dog will go to live with their adoptive family for 4 weeks to ensure it is the perfect match for both the dog and new family. After the 4 weeks is complete, if all has gone well, the adoption is formalised and your new doggy companion is officially yours!
If you are interested in adopting from us, we ask that you fill out the Adoption Application form on our website (via the link provided below) with as much detail as possible, including the name of the dog you are interested in.
We do not rehome female dogs to a home where there is an existing female dog. Whilst there are always exceptions, it is generally unwise to have two females together; two males can sort it out, a male and a female can sort it out, but when two females fight, the results can be disastrous. For this reason, following the advice from numerous Veterinary behaviourists, as well as our own experience from the last eight years, we do not rehome females into homes with other female dogs.
All of our dogs are de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated
Puppies (2 months to 4 months) - $1000
Puppies (4 to 6 months) - $800
Adolescents (6 months to 1 year) - $700
