About Toby
Toby (M / 11 months) – Foster Care needed with the view to Adopt
Current Location: Sunshine Coast, QLD
Remember Kobi from the pound? He was the very skinny boy who needed to be moved into foster care ASAP.
Well ...look what a little bit of TLC does!! He has come on in leaps and bounds and has a new name Toby ❤
If you are wanting a family member who loves snuggles, food, toys and fun then look no further! Toby is the boy for you! He is a typical young boxer boy who goes from a snoring squishy face to thinking he is a greyhound on a race track when it's time to go play!!
Toby is still only a pup, so he does have crazy moments where his body stops listening to his brain and he has accidentally pushed over young children. He is always filled with remorse once his brain comes back. For this reason, a home with older children or only adults is a must.
He is yet to realise there are other dogs that can be equally as friendly so, at the moment, does get anxious when seeing other dogs near or far. At this point in time, we think Toby would suit a home as the only dog until his training has reached a level where his unease in this area has been overcome.
Toby is going through training to help him to learn that outside the home is just as fun as being at home. He is learning to walk nicely on a lead. Given his young age, Toby needs someone committed to his ongoing training and the teaching of grown up boxer boy manners!
