About Nakita
************** PLEASE APPLY AT www.gsrv.com.au ****************************
Sweetheart Nakita is almost 4 years old and finds herself looking for a new home due to no fault of her own.
Nakita is a petite girl who loves big, she adores everyone she meets and is a snuggle bunny who loves getting cuddles and tummy rubs from anyone willing to give them! Nakita is a gentle girl who would suit most family dynamics and may be suitable to living in a home with children.
Nakita is confident in her home but gets startled easily by loud noises. Out on a walk, Nakita is less confident and a little nervous to begin with, she loves to sniff anything and everything she can and would enjoy exercising in quieter areas for now whilst she forms a bond with her new family.
Nakita cam be a little worried around other dogs, whilst she isn't reactive towards them, she is uncomfortable sometimes and needs to gain confidence before living with another dog. Nakita has lived with a cat previously, with slow introductions and the ability to be separated, Nakita may be able to be integrated with another cat in her new home.
Nakita loves to play, balls and squeaky toys are her absolute favourite, she does like to destroy them though… all squeaks must be destroyed! Nakita also loves treats and working for them, she is very clever and knows her basic commands. Nakita would love a new family that will spend time with her engaging in training and play so that they can learning new tricks and games together.
Nakita is such a sweet girl that will make any family extremely happy; companionship, a life full of enrichment and plenty of love will see this beautiful girl shine in her new home.

Adoption details
We offer a 'Foster to Adopt' program. This means that the dog will go to live with their adoptive family for 4 weeks to ensure it is the perfect match for both the dog and new family. After the 4 weeks is complete, if all has gone well, the adoption is formalised and your new doggy companion is officially yours!
If you are interested in adopting from us, we ask that you fill out the Adoption Application form on our website (via the link provided below) with as much detail as possible, including the name of the dog you are interested in.
We do not rehome female dogs to a home where there is an existing female dog. Whilst there are always exceptions, it is generally unwise to have two females together; two males can sort it out, a male and a female can sort it out, but when two females fight, the results can be disastrous. For this reason, following the advice from numerous Veterinary behaviourists, as well as our own experience from the last eight years, we do not rehome females into homes with other female dogs.
All of our dogs are de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated
