About Furball
Furball is a quirky little guy who likes to make his presence known. Whether he is running around your feet, chasing one of the other kittens, or initiating a play fight, he is especially hard to ignore. It is not all action and mischief with him though as he does like to be held and cuddled and is quick to relax in your arms and purr.
He is a handsome little ginger tabby with the most amazing eyes which seem at times to stare right into your soul. He was only a few weeks old when he came into care and was still feeding off mum. His mother Furnella was quite protective of him as he was quite small, but he was having none of that and would go into full combat mode to escape her attention and explore on his own. Nor did he want to sit still while she cleaned him. Furball has what can only be described as catitude! If you love ginger cats, it would be especially hard to go past this little man he is definitely one of our favourites.
Furball has never been on his own and we recommend he go to a home where he can have a brother or sister. If you don't already have another cat at home, you could adopt two from the shelter instead of one. Experience shows that with another kitten or cat they settle faster into a new home, will keep each other company and out of mischief.
A reduced adoption fee can be negotiated for Furball's perfect family if you would like to adopt a second cat or kitten.
Adoption details
If you would like to adopt a country pet there are a few requirements.
A chat with the foster carer is the first step to determine if the pet is the right one for you and your lifrstyle. A yard check while having a meet and greet is the next step and if all is satisfactory for all parties the adoption can go ahead.
The perfect home for each individual pet is essential, and the decision about which new home the pet goes to is made by the foster carer.
