About Spot
The pocket rocket to beat all pocket rockets!
This is Spot.
His name is short and sweet, just like he is.
At 12 months old he is an absolutely delightful young man with his whole life ahead of him and he's just waiting to take on the world.
Spot has energy levels that are HIGH and we mean he is a super charged, rocket-fueled pup.
If you're the kind of dog person who is happy to never have a day off from going for walks, who loves getting out with your dog for energetic runs or long bush walks or preferably both on a regular basis - then Spot is for you.
He's an intelligent little guy with a stubborn streak who will thrive in a home with positive training and consistent routines.
Spot loves people and has grown up around kids. He's also social with cats, though he will engage them in play so would suit a kitty who wants to be his playmate.
He's friendly and loving and will put a smile on your face.
He enjoys playing with toys and especially loves his balls, he's a ball addict for sure.
Spot is selectively friendly with other dogs when out and about.
Calm, easy going dogs are his buddies but if a dog is over the top or gets in his face then he will tell them to back off.
We would love to see him in a home where he can work on his socialisation in structured settings but also have a family who respects that he won't always be friendly with other dogs and can adjust his walks etc to accommodate that.
Spot isn't a first time dog-person's dog but if you love active, playful, super smart doggos and want a big personality in a small body then he is definitely the dog for you!
Spot is $450 to adopt. He's desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.
Spot is located in Toodyay.
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view one of our lovely animals. We love them all and we hope you will too.
If you would like to know more about an animal please email us at avonvalley@safe.org.au. If it sounds like you and the furry creature are a suitable match then we will pass on the foster carer’s details to you so you can call and make a time to meet them.
Once you have met the animal and wish to go further then we may organise a yard check to ensure that your yard is safe and secure (dogs only). You can then take your new family member home on a 2 week trial and if you decide they are not suitable then you can return them.
If you are not sure how existing animals in your home might be affected, or you want a little extra time to get to know the nature of the animal, we may allow you to foster with a view to adopt.
