About Venice
Venice is an active playful puppy who does not like to sit still for extended periods. lol She loves exploring the backyard and running around doing zoomies and splashing in water when she gets a chance. Venice does not get mouthy at all so she would be suitable for children.
Venice is a Bull Arab x but as she only weighs in at 4 kilos we feel she will be just a med size girl at full growth
PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM AND JUNK FOLDERS FOR YOUR APPLICATION ONCE YOU HAVE SENT YOUR ENQUIRY EMAIL
Food
Venice is currently eating three meals a day of premium dry food. #Savourlife Puppy She will sit when asked and wait for her dinner. Venice shows no sign of food aggression and will gently take food from your hand. For training I have been using boiled chicken cut into small pieces,
Traveling in the Car
Venice has been going for multiple car trips every week and is getting used to them. Venice sits on the back seat and is clipped in, after a couple of minutes she lays down and relaxes. As Venice is a puppy I would encourage her new family to continue taking her out for car trips and always using the proper restraints.
Visitors
Venice can be a little bit quiet when she first meets someone but will warm up quickly. Venice loves chasing the teenage kids around that are in this house.
Enrichment
As Venice is living in a house surrounded by other dogs she spends most of her day playing with the other dogs and exploring the outside yard. Venice loves toys and exploring how toys work, she loves chasing balls, stealing socks and running.
Walks-Lead Experience
Venice has been practising walking on a lead in the front yard and is not fussed by the lead at all. She loves exploring the front and watching other dogs and people walk past. Venice will need to have further lead training and it will be important that her family continue walking her everyday.
Obedience
Venice is a smart girl and will sit and drop when asked. Venice will need to attend puppy school to further her training and for socialisation.
Inside
Venice is great inside and has not been chewing on things that she shouldn't. Venice knows how to use a doggy door and will use it to go in and out when she pleases. Venice is a typical puppy who will explore and run around even when inside, she will get under your feet while you walk as she wants to know what you are doing.
Dog socialisation, cats and other small animals
Venice is currently living in a house with 3 siblings and 4 other dogs . These dogs are all different breeds, ages, and heights. Venice has no issues playing with all the dogs.
As Venice is a puppy she will be fine in a home with a cat, however your cat must be puppy savvy.
Sleeping
Venice has been sleeping in her crate with the door open with her siblings and occasionally on my bed. Venice is a great sleeper and once asleep for the night she will sleep through until morning. Venice tends to go to bed between 7 and 9pm and not wake up until 8am.
Toilet Training
Venice has not had any accidents inside lately but in a new home we would expect her to have a few accidents until she is comfortable with her surroundings . I would suggest taking her outside after she wakes up and also after eating.
