√ older child friendly
√ dog friendly
? untested with cats
Tara is a lovely girl who loves being around her family. She currently lives with another dog who is a little too lively for her. She would be happiest as an only dog or with a calm, confident dog who enjoys a play.
Tara lives with young children, but she can be jumpy at times so older children would be best. She has never shown any signs of aggression and enjoys receiving all the love and attention she can get.
Tara totally believes she is a lap dog, despite her size. She will happily sit on your lap and cuddle with you all day. Her favourite thing is being close to her humans so she would love it if her new family were home often. She will need to be allowed to be a part of her family’s activities.
She knows her basic obedience and will sit and come when called, but she will benefit from continued training and confidence building as she can be nervous in new situations. Tara has not been tested with cats.
If you have the time to give Tara plenty of love and attention, she will reward you with loyalty and affection and will make an awesome dog for a lucky family.
