About Bart
Hi! Hi! Hi! I'm Bart! I'm a red cattle dog puppy on the hunt for my furever home! I was a private surrender and came into with 6 brothers and sisters!
I currently live with my brother, Homer, another large foster puppy, 2 resident doggos and a resident kitty! You could say that I'm very very well socialised with dogs! I'm also slightly interested in the kitty, but overall, she doesn't bother me!
My favourite thing in the world is toys! Squeaky toys! Ball toys! Rope toys! All the toys! I also love food! My foster mumma's fed me a couple of different things so far and needless to say I've loved all of it. I'm not picky in the slightest! In fact, I'm actually the largest of my siblings for that reason!
My foster mumma says I'm super smart. Within one day, I nailed 'sit' and 'lie down'. I also pride myself on never having had an accident inside. My foster mumma is working on crate training me at night as well and while it takes me 10-15 minutes to settle down at first I usually sleep the rest of the night without any dramas. I haven't really had much experience walking on lead yet because I'm not fully vaccinated but I'm a fast learner so I'm sure I'd pick it up in no time!
When I grow up, I should be a medium sized doggo. I will probably be the biggest of my siblings though just given how much bigger I am at the moment. I can bark a bit when I'm scared and when I'm exposed to new things so I'd love a family that understands this and can help me feel as relaxed as possible. Being a working breed, I would love a medium sized backyard, but I'd also love to be invited inside and included in the family. Additionally, I think I'd benefit from an older doggo sibling to guide me and help me get some of my energy out. I've met tonnes of kids as well and would be happy to be apart of a family with them.
Love and licks, Bart xx
