About Blaze
Blaze is a 12 month old mixed breed
who is an amazing boy & ticks all the boxes.
Blaze has a tonne of endearing qualities. Thankfully because his body is best described as tall , lanky and legs for days. To say Blaze is loving is a true understatement. Blaze is sometimes a little too loving . I can't take him to the shop without having him being hugged , patted and the centre of attention.
A confident young boy Blaze may think he's a lap dog however he isn't a cotton wool dog . Chances are you won't be able to stop yourself from wanting to have him walk in your shadow . However he is just as happy lying at the door outside, plotting around the yard and going about his own business.
Blaze is mature around other dogs. He can tell the difference between soft play with smaller dogs and full on WWE smackdown style with dogs his own size. He will get down on the ground so as not to scare little dogs by his size . Which is a great trait . Blaze would do best in a home with another dog of similar age & size as he thoroughly enjoys running, playing & a good rumble.
Surprisingly Blaze isn't a destructive dog . All fluffy toys are intact. He did try to de squeak the rubber turkey . In his defence it asked for it 😆
A beautiful dog to walk Blaze is a straight even pace dare I say glider on the lead . You won't need two hands or arms of steel to walk him .
Dinner time is slow he likes to savour every bite . No kibble is left untouched even if it takes him twice as long .
Blaze is ideal for first time dog owners as his calm laid back nature allows you to enjoy dog ownership without the need of outside professional guidance. .
Blaze is actually quite good around cats inside the home. He pays them no attention. But he WILL chase them given a chance encounter outside.
Blaze is currently enjoying life with other dogs big and small, cats, chickens a rabbit birds and teenager.
I wouldn't say he is a great guard dog . He may give a soft bark first then proceed to seek out cuddles.
Blaze is by definition "man's best friend." Or perhaps " mummy's boy" however I was to fully describe him wouldn't even come close to doing him justice.
