About Mango
MEET MANGO!
Mango is approximately 1 year young. She is an all black short hair "house panther"! Mango is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated x2.
Mango is a very sweet, shy girl that is looking for a patient, loving owner that has the time and love to give to her! She is a sensitive gal and has been in foster care for quite some time now and we would love nothing more than for Mango to find her very own home, where she can be the centre of attention! Mango gets along well with other cats and would love to be a companion for another kitty that is in need of a friend! She spends most of her time with the other kitties, playing and cuddling.
Whilst Mango will be scared and skittish for the first couple of weeks BUT i can assure you she WILL settle in and show you her true self!
Mango currently cuddles up to her foster carers in bed every evening and curls up on their laps on the couch! She is very affectionate and loving and if you give her time to bond, she will do the same to you!
We would recommend Mango goes to a home without little kids or indoor dogs and a quieter home rather than a loud, busy environment though we do expect that she will become more confident and relaxed in time, in her new home. A home with a young friendly cat that needs a companion would be ideal for Mango! Alternatively, you can adopt Mango alongside one of her foster siblings!

Medical notes
Mango is a young adult and as such we recommend feeding her a premium quality adult diet with dental dry biscuits. She is currently eating Advance brand.
Dental biscuits act as an excellent preventative!

Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
