Annabelle - Located in Thornbury

Annabelle (aka Elly) with her beautiful and unusual colouring is a very sweet little bean!

She can be a bit shy at first, but warms up quickly to new people. Once she is comfortable this little cutie will chirrup at you regularly, just to say hi or to find out where you are in the house. Once you have been located, she will proceed to demand endless, endless pats from you and will roll around in your lap while doing so. She may even give you a gentle love bite if you stop giving her scritches too soon, but she’s learning quickly not to be too rough!

Elly LOVES to chase toys on strings (or just the string itself), and quite enjoys playing with your hand as well. She is getting better every day at keeping her claws in while playing, as she doesn’t mean to scratch, she’s just having fun and is still a kitten!

Elly would suit a quieter household that is ready to lavish her with attention as she can feel a bit intimidated by new people and sudden loud noises. Younger children may be a bit much for her, especially while she learns to play more gently. She would go well with other cats if they are gentle (and preferably female) as she is more on the petite side and is a bit tired of being dominated by her brothers. She would also do well by herself and would give you her endless devotion!

Once she has settled in to your home, you will have one of the sweetest, most loving cats to lavish you with cuddles and pats and playtime and kisses. If you like getting attention from your kitty, Elly is perfect for you!

Before applying to meet one of our cats, please ensure that
- you have the agreement of all members of the household to adopt a Cat
- you have your landlords permission to keep a pet. More information on what to do is available at https://www.consumer.vic.gov.au/housing/renting/applying-for-a-rental-property-or-room/pets-and-renting
- you have all the necessary bits and pieces to welcome your new family member, starting with a cat carrier to bring them home, a litter tray, litter, food and bowls as well as a bed, toys and scratchers
- you are ready to welcome them home NOW.
We are unable to hold a cat for you if you are not ready to adopt.
