About Xena
Hi, I’m Xena! I was trapped in front of a unit in Morphett Vale. It's taken me a little while to get used to indoor life, but I love being indoors now!
I can often be found playing with my foster brother Harley or cuddling up to my foster carer for pats - when the little humans aren't around that is. When I hear their loud voices, I can often be found hiding under a bed. My foster carer says that when the house is quiet, I'm a purry snuggle bug and will give love bites if I don't get a pat in time.
My dream home is a quiet one without children who will give me a little time to settle in and show my true purrsonality.
Xena has been:
- Tried with children and isn't a fan
- Tried with cats and is great with them
- Untried with dogs (best in a home without them)
***To be kept strictly indoors or with access to a secure cat enclosure only***
Xena is approximately 8 months old and her adoption fee of $150 includes:
- Desexing
- 1st Vaccination
- Microchip
- Flea and worming treatments up to date of adoption
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of her current wet and dry food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys and other goodies to get her started.
Xena is available to meet at her foster carer's home at Christie Downs.
If you would like to meet Xena, please fill out the following application form (https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A) and her foster carer will get back to you as soon as possible to arrange a time to meet her!
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
If you wish to adopt a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application form https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A
