Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Tokyo
The gorgeous little Tokyo is a Bull Arab x that only weighs in at a mere 4 kilos
She's a sweet little girl and based on her age and weight we think she will only be a med size girl
She is currently in a foster home with older children and 6 others dogs
Tokyo is a beautiful little girl, who can be a little shy when she first meets you, but she warms up very quickly. Tokyo loves to cuddle and follow you around when she isn't busy exploring the backyard and chasing insects.
Food
Tokyo is currently eating three meals a day which consist of a premium dry food Savourlife Puppy . For training I use boiled chicken cut into small pieces. Tokyo will sit and wait for her food to be placed.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM AND JUNK FOLDERS FOR YOUR APPLICATION EMAIL ONCE YOU HAVE SENT YOUR ENQUIRY
Traveling in the Car
We have been taking Tokyo on short car trips. Tokyo gets excited every time she gets in the car . I would encourage her new family to continue taking her on car trips and to always use the proper restraints.
Visitors
At first Tokyo will sit back and watch visitors from a distance before approaching. Once comfortable she will demand lots of cuddles and attention. Because Tokyo can be a little timid at first I would suggest a home with not young kids.
Enrichment
Tokyo loves to run and play outside chasing insects, playing in the dirt, rolling on the grass, hiding in holes, and chasing balls.
Walks-Lead experience
Tokya has been practising walking on a lead in the front yard. She will need ongoing training with this. As she is still a puppy she will require short daily walks and longer daily walks as she grows.
Obedience
Tokyo will sit when asked. Tokyo will need to attend puppy school for further training and socialisation.
Dog socialisation, cats and other small animals
Tokyo is currently living in a house with 6 other dogs and 3 of her siblings. These dogs are all different breeds, ages, and heights. Tokyo has no issues playing with all the dogs.
As Tokyo is a puppy she will be fine in a home with a cat, however your cat must be puppy savvy.
Sleeping
Tokyo has been sleeping in a crate with the door open with her siblings and occasionally on my bed. She sleeps through the night and tends to be a late riser (around 8am)
Toilet Training
Tokyo has not had any accidents inside. When inside she will use a puppy pad or she will take herself outside through the doggy door. In a new home we would expect her to have a few accidents until she is used to her surroundings. When she wakes up I would suggest taking her straight outside and after eating.
