About Nala
Meet Nala! Stellar girl and your new very best friend.
Nala is a young, active girl who is still adjusting to the big world out there as she is exposed to new things every day. Nala never received the training or socializing that pups should have during their younger years which means that while she LOVES walks, she is also very alert and a bit nervous out of the house. Nala is looking for someone confident and patient, who will show her the way of the world and open her up to new situations and environments in a positive way.
In foster care Nala has shown herself to be a quick learner, improving her behavior daily as she learns boundaries and develops new skills. Her goofy, playful personality unfolds more each day. She is an incredibly affectionate dog who thinks she's a lap dog and will regard you with dreamy loving eyes when you give her all the pats.
Nala is energetic and will need plenty of enrichment and exercise to tire her out. Afterwards, she'll curl up in her blankets and sleep through the night.
Nala would love her new family to be home more often than not. While she hasn't shown any signs of separation anxiety, like all staffys she likes to be near you whenever possible and involved in all the adventures! Nala has lived with dogs in the past, though the set-up was not in a social sense and as such her social skills need to be developed before living with any other dogs so, for now, she needs a dog-free home.
Nala would not suit a home with cats or other small pets and would best suit a home with any children over the age of 15.
Nala is presently looking for both a prospective adopter and a foster carer, so this is your ideal opportunity to help her and if things do not work out, you can still do something amazing and assist in getting her to her forever home!
Prospective foster carers will gain access to a support network of animal-loving volunteers, our behaviorists, with all vet expenses covered and access to donated food!
