About Joy
Joy is a two year old Groodle (Golden Retriever cross Poodle)who has recently been surrendered in Sydney and will only be rehomed in NSW. She is now in Foster Care and recovering well from undergoing Sterilisation surgery. She wights 21kg and is tall(all legs).
She is a sweet natured girl who likes to be close to her humans. She will best suit a family that want her to live as an inside dog and involve her in lots of outings and activities.
She is social with other dogs and enjoys playing with them. She will be suitable as either an only dog or as a second dog. She has grown up with young children and is good with them. Having said that, due to her size, she will not be rehomed with small children as she is too big and bouncy. Nor will she suit the frail or very elderly.
Her new family will need to have the time and energy to give her the love, exercise and stimulation she needs. She is a delight and will make for a wonderful close companion pet to the right family.
Joy has a non shedding coat that is suitable for people with allergies. She will need clipping at a grooming salon 6 times per year.
If you can offer Joy a fantastic future, please answer the questions outlined in the "Adoption Process" section.
Medical notes
Joy is in excellent health and ready to start a wonderful life with her new family.

I look forward to receiving your application. Here is a description of the Adoption process after applications are received:
1. After carefully reviewing applications, I will make a shortlist of 2-3 applicants who best match the dogs needs. Only these applicants will be contacted for further information. I often receive numerous applications for any one dog(especially if it’s young and healthy) so contacting everyone is just not viable.
2. Those shortlisted applicants will then be contacted no later than two weeks from the date of application. If you have not been contacted by the two week mark, then assume that you have not been shortlisted.
3. Shortlisted applicants will be asked to provide a Vet and Grooming reference. This means that with the applicants permission I will contact their Vet and Groomer(if they have used one) to see how well they have looked after any current or past dogs.
4. I then conduct viewings with the few applicants that have excellent references to see if they like the dog and visa versa. This is usually around 1-3 potential families.
5. Once I have chosen an applicant, I conduct a “Fence Check” to ensure that the property is secure. If both parties are comfortable to proceed then adoption takes place. There is a two week trial period where adoptive parents can return the dog and receive a full refund if it doesn’t work out.
6. Dogs are adopted with the following : Current Vaccination Certificate, Sterilisation Certificate, Microchip Details.
7. My adoption process is very thorough as I am committed to finding the very best home that suits each dogs needs and quirks.
This process may seem like over kill, but many surrendered dogs have often come from a less than ideal situation, and it’s my responsibility to do everything in my power to ensure that their future is absolutely fantastic!!!
Have a great day
