About Mia
Mia is very sweet, affectionate and patient and very very chatty!
An intelligent girl, she has learnt to recognise what certain words mean, what an alarm clock means, and she's learnt to do a trick for her treats.
Very well behaved, Mia is polite. When new people visit, she will greet them and enjoy their extra pats. She is gentle even in play.
Mia is confident and adjusts very quickly to new environments, sounds, activities, people, etc. At first, she can be shy and reserved but within a few days she will begin to adapt and her confidence will increase immensely.
Mia is litter trained and can be a little OCD when it comes to her litter box. She would be best suited to two (or more) litter boxes that are both cleaned every day otherwise she will protest by kicking her everywhere!
Mia will follow you around the house most of the time. She enjoys as many pats as she can get.
Mia will not sit on your lap but she does enjoy being held if you're standing and she loves to cuddle in the bed in the morning.
Mia loves to have plenty of plants in the house, especially cat grass.
Mia is very energetic and needs hours of play and exercise every day. She is also very social. Therefore, Mia would be best suited to a home with a family who already have a second pet for Mia to play with. This is ideal as she is very lonely and cries when left home alone.
Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need Website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. My emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
Please note all our cats are indoor cats only.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
