About Kiwi
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP***
This girl is the most affectionately demanding cat; steals seats, is a plonker (which on the flip side, she quite enjoys heavy handed affection and playfulness) but most of all she is a snuggler, she just loves being with you.
If she’s lying on the floor waiting for you, and she sees you coming, she will stretch out and lather up some belly rubs.
She’s very tolerable, and doesn’t mind in your face affection, having head to head rubs and kisses. Her favourite thing has been getting very massaging gum rubs.
Her personality and placid-ness to tolerate whatever you want to do with her, has made her such a great emotional support animal; she has travelled around in a cat backpack carrier, and has remained curled up in there when the bag has been open, to allow for pats or viewing the world go by.
She lives with a dog and a cat, she has been best with dogs and does know how to use a dog door, so she has explored the back yard, and the local attaching houses, but mostly sunbacks in our small yard, and if she isn’t, she never goes far, cause EVERY time I call her she is quick to come darting back inside.
She can be bossy to other cats (to start with) but isn’t hectic and can be diverted. But will play around with the other household cat. She does like to think she can beat the dog sometimes, occasionally tapping the dogs butt when on her food tub, or legs when on the floor. She also hasn’t chased proper mice before, but often plays with her toy mouse and then comes racing in and struts up to me and places her mouse either around me or near me (with a meow to show me what she’s done), and is very proud of her efforts. She is one who prefers humans most and then dogs.
She always melts the hearts of those around her, and I am sure she will take your heart by storm.
Kiwi is approximately 4 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little lady with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with her.
Located in Boronia with one of our amazing foster carers.
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with a shop front and multiple staff, it a is a very small, one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. All donations received and every cent from adoptions fees goes straight back to the cats in the form of food, litter, toys and vet bills. Meet and greets are by appointment only.
Please check out our social media to learn a bit more about what we do.

Adoption details
Very easy and straight forward process. We'd like to have chat to better understand your living situation and if it sounds like you might a be a good fit we will arrange a meet and greet as soon as possible.
Please don't enquire unless you have permission to have an animal in your home as we cannot "hold" cats while you wait for real estate approval.
