About Sally
This lurcher lady brings to the table the lengthy aesthetics of a sighthound with the enthusiasm of a working dog; Sally is a super sweet 2.5 year old greyhound x kelpie looking for an active family who are ready to put in some training to help her become the best version of herself.
Sally will need:
- Humans home often, and a resident medium to large canine who can model good behaviours
- A large yard (she loves to run, and is prone to boisterous play, so is not apartment suitable)
- No resident small animals or pocket pets
Sally is very snuggly and affectionate, and is suitable for homes with young children. She is currently on medication for separation anxiety, and undertaking a training plan to learn calm settle behaviours.

Adoption details
** Sally is currently available for FOSTER enquiries, her profile will be updated when she is ready to find a forever home **
1) Please email adopt@amazinggreys.com.au
2) Our adoptions team will send you an application form so we can learn more about you, your household and lifestyle
3) Once you submit an application, a volunteer from Amazing Greys then conducts an in person home check so that you can learn more about us and our community (all of our volunteers are fully vaccinated and must abide by our COVID Safety Plan)
4) Based on the home check, our adoptions team will suggest a suitable match for you*, and a meet and greet will be arranged with the foster home
5) After the meet and greet, should you decide to proceed the greyhound will be placed on a 3 week trial with you
5) At the completion of the trial period, our $385 fee will be due and the greyhound becomes an official member of your family!
Our team will keep in touch with you throughout the process and help you to settle in your new greyhound; but you will also have lifetime support, at any point post adoption our team can assist with referrals to qualified behaviourists and also providing resources and in home consultations where required.
*Where a suitable match is not available, you may be placed onto a wait list. Please note, we do not cat test and may refer applications with small animals to organisations that are able to assist with a placement
