About Mr Bear
Hi, my name is Mr Bear! Like Xena, I was trapped in front of a unit in Morphett Vale. It took me a while to get used to indoor life but I love it now!
I'm a purry boy once I know I'm safe. I love nothing more than a head rub or a rub at the base of my tail! I'll stick my butt as far into the air as I can when you give me a rub there...sometimes until I fall over! I get so into pats that I drool from happiness and love pushing my head into my foster carer's hand to get more head rubs. I have the cutest little meow and will meow for pats at times.
I love other cats. Whenever one of my foster carer's cats come into the room, I'll roll onto my back and start purring. I think I'd love a home with a confident kitty friend who can continue to teach me that indoor life is great and humans are even better!
My dream home is a quiet home with no children and another confident kitty friend. I'd love someone who understands that I'll need time to settle in and will let me gain trust in my own time.
Mr Bear has been:
- Untried with children (best suited to a home without them)
- Untried with dogs (best suited to a home without them)
- Tried with cats (absolutely loves them and is best in a home with another cat)
***To be kept strictly indoors or with access to a secure enclosure only***

Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
If you wish to adopt a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application form https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A
