About Elle
Hi, I am Elle! I am a 1 year and 7 month old, female, Border Collie x Kelpie.
I am quite an adventurous and energetic dog that loves to run and play with other dogs. I am currently living with a range of dogs of various ages whom I love playing and hanging out with.
I have a keen Kelpie instinct and love to chase so I would be suited to a home with no small animals or cats. I am currently working sheep in the yards with my foster family and I love it! I have the potential to also work in the paddock with some more training as I’m currently fine tuning my commands. I am keen to keep learning and will become an asset to a farming home with someone that knows how to continue on with my training. When the work vehicles turn on, I am there ready to go!! My other favourite past time is jumping on the back of the Ute ready to go on adventures with my hoomans!
I will need an experienced owner that is happy to set boundaries as I’m an excitable girl with loads of love to give anyone who’s close to me! I can walk on a lead, sit and come when called.
My ideal home will be on acerage hopefully with some lifestock for me to work. I also need some doggy siblings to live and work with to keep me happy and entertained. My new home must have experience with working dogs and be keen to carry on with my training.
If I sound like the girl for you, please put in an application today!
Elle is located in NSW...
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
