About Chase ~ 14mo Labrador X Kelpie(On Trial 21/8/22)
Meet Chase, a 14 month old beautiful black Labrador x kelpie. Chase has lots of energy to burn during the day and enjoys relaxing with his carers inside at night.
Chase is a smart boy who needs lots of physical and mental stimulation throughout the day. He is a strong boy who is progressing well even in his initial training on lead, but he will need a family committed to his twice daily walks with training. He will stop at lights and curbs and wait until he is told to go. Chase also enjoys learning new tricks – he will sit, stay, offer his paw and lay down. He is a quick learner if there is a treat involved.
Chase loves to interact with other dogs of all sizes and may suit living in a household with another dog. Previously an outside only dog, Chase is learning to enjoy being inside, so his new family will need to learn to be patient with him while he continues his toilet training. While Chase has lived with cats previously, they were not in direct contact so he is fairly untested with small animals.
As Chase is a large dog and boisterous, so he will be best suited to a home with no small children so as to not knock them over. He loves every person he meets and is always receptive to cuddles. Chase’s ideal family will have someone home more often than not and a yard with plenty of room to run.

Chase is currently in foster care in the Newcastle area. His adoption fee is $500, and he is already de-sexed, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and microchipped.
