About Safiya
Meet Safiya,
She's a beautiful, big eyed ginger girl with a striking resemblance to puss in boots (can you see it?)
Safiya loves snacks (specifically tuna) toys, and taking the odd zoomie run up and down the hallway… though she can only manage a couple before she needs another lie down! Safiya had five litters of kittens before she joined us, and so while she does know how to play, she is definitely looking for somewhere quiet to settle down and retire.
Though Safiya has been a house cat all her life, she was recently surrendered by her previous family, and came into care through no fault of her own. She’s used to living in a house with lots of other cats, but because of this, hasn’t always had the attention she deserves. Even though she is still adjusting, she loves chin scratches and a good cheek rub, and is slowly becoming a couch cat, one night at a time.
Safiya is looking for a relaxing home, with humans who will give her a few good places to lie in the dark (behind the couch is her favourite spot) and will let her be her independent self. She will need time to learn to trust, but once she does, you will have a companion for life.
While we prefer all our cats to be indoor, Safiya would love a cat run or home with a cat proofed yard once she has settled in properly.
