About Henley
Hello there,
My name is Henley - how do you do?
I'm alright, thanks for asking; but if I'm gonna be honest I would feel a whole lot better if I had a home to call my own, reckon you could make that
happen?
I made my way to the shelter as a stray. Unfortunately, I seemed to had lost my way and no one came in to claim me as their own. Since coming to the
shelter, I have been through a lot. So it was no wonder I found this place a little scary and retreated to the comfort of my box. Every day, the staff would
spend time with me and offer me yummy treats like boiled chicken and they helped me feel more and more comfortable. Now I am a bit of a smooch
machine who loves spending time with people. Chin scratches are just the best thing ever!
Because it can take me some time to warm up to new people, I am looking for a family with previous cat experience that can understand my behaviour. A
cool, calm, collected boy like myself would be best suited to a mature family with no young children under 12 years.
You may have noticed, I am missing a back leg. Unfortunately, it had to be amputated due to an injury I came in with. I was a bit self conscious of this at
first but the staff here remind me that it just makes me even more special. For this reason, I will need to be kept as an indoors only cat; but I don't really
mind... so long as it means I get to cuddle up by my humans side.
If I sound like the man for you, head up to front counter and hopefully I will see you soon!
Lots of love,
Little Henny xoxoxo
