Nellie

Hi, I'm Nellie - sweet, shy and yes, a bit of a nervous Nellie too! My ideal home would be mature, calm and peaceful, perhaps with gentle teenagers as my human siblings. I will take to my humans but may do so slowly and at my own pace. I would love to have a friendly and sociable doggie companion there because I gain confidence in the presence of calm and social dogs. I may take a while getting used to my new environment and learn all the right doggo-behaviours but I promise you, I do a lot for treats and good food! I would like a quiet, safe spot to withdraw, ideally a comfy crate, so I can collect my thoughts when I feel overwhelmed at first. Calm and peaceful walks to lead-train me would also be good but please no dog parks or off-leash areas.
