About Soda
Want to improve your life by 60%? Adopt Soda!
Soda has truly warmed the hearts of everyone he has met in the shelter. He is the cuddliest, most playful dog. We cannot believe he is still searching for a home after 120 days in care and counting.
Soda loves to play and go for walks, but doesn't need extensive exercise to keep him happy. Soda has learnt a few little tricks while in our care, including sit, drop, beg, shake and roll over.
He now has many impressive new skills, has made friends with a wide range of other dogs, and even knows how to put his best foot forwards when meeting new human friends ...though he does occasionally feel the need to jump up for a kiss on the face. Like a fine wine, Soda just keeps getting better with time.
Soda's favourite activities include meeting new friends (be they human or canine), long walks with interesting smells, games of chasey, and long chin scratches. He loves to learn and would do well with a new guardian willing to continue his training towards being the best dog that he can be.
To set Soda up to succeed, we do have a couple of requirements for his new home:
- No cats or pocket pets
- No other dogs at this stage. While Soda has made fantastic progress in his ability to interact with and befriend other dogs, he's not quite ready to move in with one. However, he would do great with a few new walking buddies and would likely love to live with a female dog of a similar size later down the track.
- A backyard big enough to stretch his legs
- No young children (under 10). Soda can be an enthusiastic player and can sometimes struggle to contain himself during games of chasey.
Soda is more than ready to leave shelter life behind and to experience all that life has to offer with his new human. Are you the person that he's been looking for? If so, please apply below! We would love to introduce you!
