About Buddy
BUDDY AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!👨👩👧👧
Buddy is pretty much a newborn giraffe who is finally learning how to run and balance his tall and leggy body, this boy leaps around like a deer, and is the biggest goofball puppy you will ever meet!💙
His shelter journey at the beginning started slow as he was very scared of the other dogs at the facility and because of this he felt most himself and safe in his kennel, slowly with time and treats we encouraged him to come out of his kennel and to explore the exercise yards which he now loves as he bounces through the air jumping around! 💙
He even has gained the confidence to introduce himself to the female dogs at the facility and is improving dramatically each day! He is seeking a family that understands his past and will allow him adequate time to become comfortable in his new home and simply learn how to trust again, he will accept cuddles and attention with treats involved and he will also now voluntarily come up to you to investigate and give you kisses! 💙
He does not jump up on you and is happy to be near his humans at all times he very much is starting to form relationships with the staff at the facility and is truly is becoming a great dog with a huge friendly personality!💙

The fist point of contact is to call the animal rehoming officer on 0439357051. We simply ask normal questions about your home life and what sort of lifestyle you can provide for the pet. Once you have had this conversation we usually will book in a meet and greet at the facility.
If the meet greet goes well the rehoming officer will book the animal in at the local vet clinic for their vetwork to be complete. The rehoming officer will then drop the animal off at the clinic that morning and you will be contacted by the vet staff when the animal is ready for collection later that afternoon.
Prior to collecting your animal from the vet you must text through your full name, email, residential address and contact number to the animal rehoming officer.
Your information is then passed onto council staff at the front office and you must complete the microchipping paperwork and also pay the animals adoption fee prior to collecting the animal from the vet. You will complete this paperwork and pay the fee not at the pound but at the Griffith city council office at 1 Benerembah St, Griffith NSW.
