About Penny and Gus
🐾💖💗 Hello SA 💖💗🐾
We are looking for a very special home for Penny 12 yrs and Gus 9yrs old, a bonded pair of seniors.💕
They have been in foster care for 8 weeks starting them on a weight loss journey as their weight was impacting their health and mobility. 8 weeks into the journey, measured meals and daily walks has meant over 2 kilo's off each of them and has made a huge difference to their energy levels and mobility. It is so important that they continue with this plan in their new home, we will advise on foods quantities and exercise.
🐾🐾Gus 9yrs a handsome quirky boy 🥰 Gus has arthritis in his hips and has been put on a special injection quarterly which he will need to continue with his new family. Gus is a reluctant walker😕 but loves playing with his ball. 🏐He has had ear infections over the years and maybe a bit deaf as a result.
♥️♥️Penny 12yrs, what can we say, an absolute darling. she has an Omega 3 tab every other day to help her joints. Penny loves to sit on the lounge with her family but will need assistance to get up and down. Penny also has had ear infections, and will need to be checked regularly for any further infections.
Penny loves her walks. she goes silly when she sees the harnesses come out, and chews on her leash while she is waiting to get out that door. 🤣
Apart from those mentioned above, these two seniors are in good health. They are great with children (5 and over), great with other dogs. They are both very gentle and want nothing more than love and cuddles that every dog deserves.
Penny and Gus will only be rehomed in SA. If you think you are the perfect fit for these two gorgeous seniors please go to our website and fill in an application to adopt. Tell us lots about yourself and your family and other pets.
