About Pixie (previously Rosie)
Q&A with Rosie the kitten on why you should adopt her!
Rosie, what are you looking for in a new home?
Hi potential best friend!
In my new home I want someone who will take the time to get to know me. I'm shy at first but once I settle in I'll be one of your best friends and I'll show my affection by making biscuits, nose kisses and finger nibbles.
What kind of space do you want in your new home?
I'd really love a space to call my own, with a nice warm bed and somewhere high that I can sit and watch the family. I don't like closed doors, I want to see everything that's going on!
What's your foster home like?
I've got both cats and dogs living with me at the moment. I've become great friends with the cats. Some nights my foster mum wonders what the noise is and it's me and my foster brother running around the laundry pretending we are ninja cats. It's great fun.
How do you feel about dogs?
While I tolerate seeing the dogs, I'd rather they kept their playfulness away from me and respected my space.
Rosie, what do you offer to your new home?
Once I'm comfortable in my environment, I offer lots of love, affection and entertainment of a ninja cat running around the house.
Any final thoughts Rosie?
Thanks for considering adopting me, while I will need time to adjust to all these changes, I will adjust and love showing you how much fun a ninja cat will be!

On the Pet Rescue profile, push the "Enquire About This Pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please tell us all about you and your home. Ensure you tell us about anything specific that you feel makes you a great match for this particular pet, or if you have specific requirements for a pet coming in to your home. The information you provide helps us to start a conversation with potential adopters, and find a great match for pets in our care. Please note the following: We do not take applications for animals over the phone, as we are a small team and are trying our best to be fair to all applicants while creating the best outcomes for our animals. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days, and will confirm with all applicants once we have an adoption meet booked for the animal. All of our meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Craigieburn, and all going well you will take home your pet on the day of the meet. The majority of our animals are in a foster home, not at the shelter, so you need to apply via the website to meet them.
