About Steffi ~ 8mo Jack Russell X(On Trial 16/8/22)
Steffi is a sweet, shy little girl who you will instantly fall in love with. She is a beautiful, gentle little girl who wants to be loved in her forever family. Steffi is an 8 month old Jack Russell X who is searching for her own home and perfect family.
Steffi is an absolutely gorgeous little girl. She has come so far with her foster carer and has been learning some new tricks and skills. Although she can be a little shy at first, she soon settles in and shows off her gorgeous personality. She has come along leaps and bounds with her basic training, and has recently started lead training, walking well on a lead with a harness. She's also pretty proud to let you know that she is 98% toilet trained, what a star!
Steffi has grown to trust her people while in foster care and will love nothing more than a male fur cuddle buddy to live with forever. Steffi has been living with a 7 year old Jack Russell foster brother. They get on super well, so its important that Steffie's forever home includes another male similar sized companion for her to bond and play with. Steffie is still very much a puppy who loves to chew, rumble and do zoomies around the yard. She loves playtime with her foster brother playing with the ball in the backyard, and would love for you to join her as well.
Steffi is a young but at times timid little girl. She will require a lot of gentle love, time and training to encourage and give her the confidence she needs to be the most amazing companion. She is a true foodie, and will do anything for some scrumptious treats. She really loves her humans so would love it if they were home enough to enjoy her, take her for walks each day and play. She would suit a single, couple or small family with someone home more often than not. If her family isn’t home most of the time, she would need a playmate to keep her company. Steffi would need to be welcomed inside when her family is home and be involved in her new family’s life. She sleeps indoors on her bed all night, and is accustomed to the creature comforts. She will not suit being an outdoor only doggo.
What is so very important is that she be given love, love, love and patience while she learns just how very special she is. She is so very gentle, loving and wanting of a forever home. Steffi will need time to learn, adjust and settle in her new home. Please do some research into the 3,3,3 Adoption Rule to understand the time it takes for new family members to really become one with your household. Steffi would benefit greatly from a family with previous Jack Russell experience, and those who have experience with dogs that need some confidence building.
Please do not apply for Steffi if you are not willing to continue her training. She deserves this and I guarantee she will reward you as a most loyal, sweet and loving companion. Steffi would be best suited to a family with children over 5 years of age. She loves all dogs she
has met and a meet and greet with all animals in the home will be compulsory. Steffi requires a puppy proof backyard with secure fencing and safe play areas. We conduct yard checks to ensure your home is the best possible environment for Steffi.
For more information on Steffi, please contact her foster carer, Debbie at familydenniss333@gmail.com. Steffi’s adoption fee is $700 which includes all up to date vet work. She is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. Steffi currently lives in the Lake Macquarie Region of NSW. Currently interstate adoption is not available.
