About Calypso
Calypso was surrendered to a local Sydney veterinary hospital with her newborn babies after being abandoned in a cat carrier to give birth all cold and alone. It was a very rocky start for her and her little men, Thunder and Gremlin.
Despite this she has blossomed into a very sweet and affectionate cat, her outgoing and adventurous personality has made her such a star when goes to work with her foster mum (at the vet), she calls to people, begs for treats (SHE IS FOOD OBSESSED!) and leaps and bounces all over the place.
Ideally Calypso would be adopted as an indoor only cat, although she would love to have on-leash outside time, or time in a secure outdoor area that is free of predators or dangers.
Unfortunately Calypso does not like other cats (other then her own kittens) and has shown no interest in making friends with dogs - she tends to ignore their presence. She is suited to an only cat household, OR she would love to be adopted along with her little shadow, Thunder: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/922803
All of Calypso's vet work has been completed, she is up to date with vaccinations, flea and worming prevention and has been microchipped and desexed.
We are unsure of her age but she has a small stature and has a very young cat personality and habits.
Adoption details
Adopting is easy - reach out, tell us who you want to meet and why they appeal to you!
We aim to reply within 48 hours (please be patient, we have full time jobs and volunteer in our spare time). We will send you a fun little questionnaire to complete about yourself, your family and your home.
From here we might proceed to a meet and greet, and we can talk business.
Adoptions all have a 2 week trial period so that we can make sure all parties are happy and thriving. Your fluffs foster carer is available for advice and guidance the whole time!
Once the 2 weeks is up, we can finalise your adoption (transfer some paper work) and CONGRATULATIONS you've got a new family member!
