About Pace
Gday to all humans out there.
You are obviously on this site as you are looking for a new furry friend.
Please stop by to read my profile as I have been told by my foster dad that I am an awesome dude and have a great personality.
I have a heart of gold and would love to be chosen as your next best pal.
Pace is a little English Staffy x who weighs in at just 24 kilos so a small med boy
So many of my type just get overlooked as we are not cute and fluffy like some but it’s what’s on the inside that counts right?
I promise to love you unconditionally and become your loyal companion if you just give me a chance.
Meet our gorgeous boy Pace.
Pace found himself scared, alone and left at the pound as his owner no longer wanted him. Such a young boy
with a big happy smile we just knew we had to save him and find him an human with empathy that will give him his forever home.
Please check your spam and junk folders for your application form once you have sent your enquiry email
Cute little ears like the wings of Icarus.
His beautiful soulful eyes really melted our heart when Pace arrived at Ak9
Pace has shown nothing but appreciation since being given a second chance in life and we hope you are drawn to this Little meatball as much as we are.
If you have a love of the staffy breed, looking for a loyal, loving companion, look no further as this little dude is for you.
Super social with people and dogs, just your all round Mr nice guy.
Pace being a staffy x is true to his breed being courageous, highly intelligent and affectionate. Always displaying his huge staffy smile, wiggly bottom full happiness and excitement. He’s showed us he’s human-oriented, loyal, and enjoyings hanging out with his human pack. True staffy style
Walks
Pace likes to walk at his ‘pace’.
An amble along sniffing and reading the daily news, and sharing his news too on trees and posts. He walks well on the lead, polite to dogs on his walks as he does not pull or bark when he sees other dogs. He has so far shown to be dog social. He has enjoyed outings at the beach and local dog park
Travel
Pace was recently lucky enough to have a little getaway trip to the beach and was the perfect passenger. He traveled extremely well, settled and happy to just snooze his way to the destination.
Pace obviously likes his food as he is a healthy staffy weight. He is currently fed high quality dry food, tends to be more of a snacker during the day than eating all his meal at once
He is gentle in taking treats from your hand and a true delight to have as dinner company
Outside time
Pace is settled being outside. When you first leave home he can cry for a few minutes but then will return to his bed for a morning snooze. Happily hangs out in the backyard in a covered area during the day until his human returns home. Soon as you are home he is super excited and displays happiness in wagging his generous rump. He not shown any destructive behaviour whilst alone.
People
Pace likes anyone willing to give him a pat or belly rub. He’s a social boy, loves to hang out if you like movies and pizza, watch the footy, or have a girls night in of wine and cheese. He just goes with the flow. He would like to join you on the couch and is content to have his special spot on a blanket
Enrichment
Pace needs a daily walk to keep him stimulated. He’s visited the local dog park where he enjoyed a good run around with the ladies and gents. He has not displayed any aggression so seems to have been well socialised in his past. Obviously with any dog introduction should always be done with caution.
At home he enjoys a chew or bone to keep him busy but hasn’t mastered ball play. He would love a home near the beach as loved his little getaway
Obedience
Pace is still learning his manners, he is not an overly jumpy boy but hasn’t been taught his basic manners so we have been working on sit and stay. Mr Pace is polite and well mannered around the home
Tank snoozes outside during the day and sleeps inside at night He also quite likes a kennel to hang out in.
Toilet training
With any new dog they can often mark their territory in a néw home. Pace had a couple of inside wee’s but soon learnt how to access outside and has been toilet trained ever since.
Home
Someone who works part time or is home for sometime during the week. We would prefer he is not left for long hours every day
A home that will continue his socialisation with other dogs
A family that will include Pace as part of the family and allow him inside to mingle and of course get those smoochy cuddles that he loves and deserves
If another dog in the home we are seeking a very well socialized female of med to large size
Children older than 5 as Pace is a solid little dude. Children must be kind and aware that dogs have boundaries too
Not tested with cats so no cats are the best option
A medium backyard
