About Enzo
ENZO IS LOOKING FOR FOREVER!
***Please apply at www.gsrv.com.au ***
Enzo is a beautiful 3.5-year-old boy desperate to find a forever home. Enzo has been let down by humans recently due to no fault of his own. Enzo has recently been rehomed on gumtree, then surrendered to the pound, rehomed again, and now he finds himself again homeless and very confused about what is happening and where home may be. Now that Enzo is with GSRV, we are determined to make sure that his next move is his last.
Enzo loves meeting people and is a friendly boy who loves to play! His favourite games are anything to do with a ball and squeaky toys - the louder the better! Whilst Enzo knows his basic commands, he will need a home that is committed to ongoing training including learning to walk beside you on lead. Enzo is a little rusty and will need to fine tune these skills.
Enzo hasn’t had much exposure to the outside world, when out on a walk, he can be startled by fast moving or loud objects such skateboards, motorbikes, lawn mowers and cyclists that get a little too close, he will let them know how worried he is with his big bark. Initially, Enzo will need to be walked in quiet areas where there are not too many distractions, he needs to build his confidence and feel safe, he loves sniffing all the smells and enjoys exploring with his humans.
The pound is not a nice place to be for any dog, they are noisy, scary and there is often a lot happening and many movements. Due to spending time in the pound, Enzo has become a little anxious and will need an understanding and patient family who will let him unwind and give him the time he needs to settle in. Enzo was previously an outside dog, he is looking for a forever home where he is invited inside to be part of the family, especially at night when noises are extra scary! Enzo is best suited to a quiet home where everyone is over the age of 14.
Enzo would prefer to be an only dog, he is generally not dog reactive but doesn't seek out the company of other dogs, preferring to keep on walking rather than engage or play. Enzo is known to bark at cats and birds, he needs a home where there are no small animals or pocket pets.
Enzo is a people dog and would make an ideal companion for someone who enjoys daily walks, plenty of playtime and a snuggle on the couch at the end of a long day. This big, beautiful boy is incredibly affectionate and playful, he just needs someone to give him the time to feel safe and at home, he will become an incredible best friend for someone willing to give him a second chance.
Enzo is a special boy who has already been let down so many times, he deserves to live his best life. If you feel you can offer Enzo a loving home where he can learn to be the fun-loving, happy boy we know he once was, please complete an online Adoption Application on our website.

Adoption details
We offer a 'Foster to Adopt' program. This means that the dog will go to live with their adoptive family for 4 weeks to ensure it is the perfect match for both the dog and new family. After the 4 weeks is complete, if all has gone well, the adoption is formalised and your new doggy companion is officially yours!
If you are interested in adopting from us, we ask that you fill out the Adoption Application form on our website (via the link provided below) with as much detail as possible, including the name of the dog you are interested in.
We do not rehome female dogs to a home where there is an existing female dog. Whilst there are always exceptions, it is generally unwise to have two females together; two males can sort it out, a male and a female can sort it out, but when two females fight, the results can be disastrous. For this reason, following the advice from numerous Veterinary behaviourists, as well as our own experience from the last eight years, we do not rehome females into homes with other female dogs.
All of our dogs are de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated
Puppies (2 months to 4 months) - $1000
Puppies (4 to 6 months) - $800
Adolescents (6 months to 1 year) - $700
Mature (1 year to 6 years) - $600
Senior (7 years plus) - $350
