About Mackenzie
Meet our lovely Lady “McKenzie”.
This girl is just divine and the closest thing to the “perfect dog” you will find. She loves pats and affection, going for nice long walks, playing fetch the ball, and exploring new environments.
McKenzie has the sweetest nature and is good with dogs, cats, other animals, and all people including children. She has lovely manners and is eager to please her people. She is a clever girl like all working breads and learns new things quickly. McKenzie is house trained, and crate trained and is just an absolutely delight of a dog.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.
IF YOU CAN TICK ALL THE BELOW BOXES, PLEASE POP IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION FOR US TO CONSIDER.
• You have a large secure yard
• McKenzie will not be alone for more than 4hrs
• You will allow McKenzie to be part of the family and will allow her access to indoors.
• You WILL enrol her in obedience training
• You WILL provide her with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer will be considered. Please include your experience with working breed dogs and the name of the obedience school you will be taking her to.
PLEAS NOTE: if you provide basic details only, we will be unable to process your application sorry.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
