About Memphis
MEET MEMPHIS!
Memphis the very handsome ragdoll is approximately 5 years young. He is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped, Memphis is ready for his forever home!
Memphis has had a very loved life with his family until he found himself in rescue through no fault of his own, he loves a snuggle, is quite affectionate and loves being able to sleep on your bed and snuggle up on the couch with you, but he will also let you know when he has had enough pats and wants time to himself.
Memphis has lived with small and medium sized dogs so he would be okay going to a home with a cat-friendly dog, he has also lived with other passive cats and would be okay to live with another kitty friend as long as they fit together (proper time and introductions is a must!) We would love to see Memphis go to a home with previous ragdoll experience but not required, however we do want to find a home that wants him for more than his looks! We have requested more photos of Memphis from his current owner to add to his profile.
Memphis is more of a lazy cat more than a playful cat, he will play with toys when he feels like it, but prefers to lay in a sunny spot and sleep.
Memphis is INDOOR ONLY for life so please only apply for him if this is suitable for you.
Medical notes
Memphis is an adult and as such he requires a good quality adult diet such as Royal Canin or Advance.
Memphis requires daily brushing to keep his fur in top condition!

Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
