About Romy
Please meet our gorgeous “Romy”.
Romy is a fun, energetic and somewhat cheeky girl. She is full of fun, loves her walks, and going in the car on adventures.
Like all GSD’s she is extremely intelligent and keen to learn new things and will do great at doggy school. She knows commands such as Sit, wait for food, down, spin, shake hands, leave it, fetch, find it, is house trained, and crate trained. Romy needs an owner that is experienced with GSD’s and is committed to her ongoing training to ensure she grows to be the best she can be.
Romy is good with other dogs but can be a tad annoying to some because of her cheeky energetic personality and her love of face licks. We think a playful and tolerant male dog would be best for her. She really just wants play and a lot of it. She would be ok with cats if you have a confident cat that will put her in her place, and you are familiar with how to introduce them. At this stage kids will need to be older as she is quite playful and clumsy.
This girl is stunning, inquisitive, playful, smart, and is going to make an amazing family pet.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.

• You have a large secure yard
• Romy will not be alone for more than 4hrs
• You will allow Romy to be part of the family and will allow her access to indoors.
• You WILL enrol her in obedience training
• You WILL provide her with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer will be considered. Please include your experience with GSD’s and the name of the obedience school you will be taking her to.

Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
