SweetPotato is a friendly and playful boy. He is very cuddly.

He is friendly with other dogs, but as he is still quite energetic and would benefit from ongoing training, it is recommended he is best on his own.

Sweetpotato is affectionate and food driven which makes him quite trainable. He knows some basic commands but would do best with a dedicated owner who is willing to invest time and reassurance to make him the best boy he can be.

Sweetpotato has been observed to have a little bit of separation anxiety but a peanut butter Kong has helped distract him. Ideally he’ll be best placed with someone who is able to teach him that time apart is a fun time!

Sweetpotato doesn’t enjoy very loud noises such as trucks. He may be a little scared of them but is working on adjusting.

He is toilet-trained and knows how to use a dog door. When it comes to walking, he is very strong on a leash so a confident owner would be a great fit. A halti or gentle leader collar may assist.
