About Bear
Bear is a super affectionate, lively, loving and friendly girl, who is on the hunt for her forever home!
This beautiful girl had a lonely start to life but the amount of love she has to give you would never have known! She’s a little shadow whatever you’re doing and loves just being around her people.
Bear can also be such a goofball - beware of the ZOOMIES! She also loves her toys - her squeaky ball is a personal favourite. Bear also knows when to be calm, and loves to relax after her evening walk and spend time with her people until it’s bedtime.
Bear’s ideal exercise routine would be two walks per day, with positive reinforcement training (she is currently working to perfect her leash manners) and lots of sniffing. A home committed to meeting her physical and mental stimulation needs will enable Bear to become the superstar we all know she is!
She gets excited by dogs whilst on her walks and needs direction from her human and to be kept away from dogs who are showing aggression towards her. Being walked is new to her and it’s a lot to take in!
At this time, we would love Bear to be the only-pet in the household to soak up all of her human’s love and attention. She will need a home without cats.
Bear adores spending time with children, however due to her size and bounciness would be best suited to a home with teenage children if any.
Bear wants nothing more than to be part of the family, and must be an active and cherished member of her forever family. Bear needs to be an indoor dog, with access to the yard for sunbaking and toy time. A home with someone around more often than not, who doesn’t mind a giant lap dog/shadow, with people who will help her develop confidence in the world beyond the fence and help makeup for the love and fun she has missed out on.
In all, Bear is an absolute sweetheart with an abundance of love to give. She is a giant goofball who will make you smile with her endless joy and goofy grin.
