About Rodney- English Staffy
Rodney is all you could ever want in a friend and family member, he is a sweet, cuddly, and smart!
His expected weight when fully grown would be around the 20-25kg mark and should be on the high end of a medium sized dog.
Despite being 5 months old, Rodney has not been taught much, but responds well to teaching. He needs an owner dedicated to ongoing training and helping bring out his full doggie potential. Rodney has been working hard on his toilet training and is getting the hang of it, he just needs to be prompted to go outside.
Rodney can be a little shy when he first meets you. He will give you a good sniff then jump up for kisses and cuddles. He has reacted well to learning to go to his bed when asked and to stay there when asked as well.
Rodney does not like dogs that are of the "large size" or are tooo in your face. He gets very scared when dogs try to dominate him. He is currently in foster care with 4 other medium size dogs (around border collie size) and absolutely loves spending the day outside with them. When he is left alone outside without other dogs he can begin to whine and cry for attention.
For this reason, you will need to be able to provide stimulation during the day, (whether that comes in the form of daily walks to exhaust some of his physical energy or mental stimulation from toys and treats) if he is to be an only dog.
Rodney would love to be homed someone who is with him more often than not as he isn't a fan of being left without his owner/bestfriend, however given time and proper stimulation, Rodney should be able to overcome this time apart.

**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY**
Due to an anticipated high volume of applications the adoption process is outlined below:
1. You must complete our Adoption Application Form by following the link to our website: https://www.all4pawsdogrescue.com.au/forms.html NOT THE PET RESCUE ENQUIRY BUTTON

3. Due to the number of applications we receive all correspondence is through email and if your application is short listed we will either call you to discuss it further and possible invite you to a meet and greet.
