About Kali
Kali is now looking for a new place to call home, she is an energetic little girl with loads of potential. She will need further training but already knows sit and isn’t too bad with recall (on a long line) she loves running around outside with her foster siblings and playing with toys. Kali will need a home without cats. She is good inside but is still toilet training, with time and patience we are sure she will get there. Kali needs work around car’s, she is reactive both in and around them not only barks at them but will lunge at them too. A covered crate in the car lowers her reaction to them. She loves people company and getting cuddles, she loves going for walks and having a good sniff session along the way. Farm life for Kali seems to be working as there is little distraction with cars and she loves running around. She is learning to fetch currently and is getting pretty good at bringing the ball back.

* Please note, this is not a contract or agreement of any kind, only expression of interest in our dog. We will not conduct any meet and greets unless this form has been filled out and submitted for review. Only approved applicants will get to meet our dogs. *
Once approved you will be contacted by a team member and can organise a time best suited to meet with the carer and dog. If you have other dogs they must also be at the meeting, including any children in the immediate family.
Before applying please consider the following:
• real estate approval if renting
• any fencing repairs that may need to be done
• outside shelter
• breed knowledge
• do you have enough time for the breed of dog you are applying for?
If you and the dog get along, you have to option of taking the dog on the spot (at this time you will need to pay the full adoption price and sign the adoption agreement) You will then get a 2-week trial with the dog, during this time should things not work out you are to return the dog to Dusty Paws Dog Rescue. You will then receive a full refund; less $50 admin fee within 7 business days of the return of the dog.

Please also keep in mind that we are a volunteer run rescue which means we don’t have someone manning the phone 24/7, we all work full time jobs and get back to your calls and messages as soon as we can. We thank you for your time and patients with us.
