About Franklin and Speedy
Franklin (silver tabby, domestic shorthair) and Speedy (Brown Tabby, domestic shorthair) are two of the cutest little kittens we've ever met.
They came in separately and aren't related, but after realising they were the same size and basically the same age, we decided they might like to become pals.
We put them together and now they're totally inseparable, so they have to go to their new home together :)
Franklin, our little silver ray of sunshine! He is a little timid when he first meets you but within a day he was purring and smooching up to us, with his tail straight in the air. He loves toys and he also loves wrestling with his new pal, Speedy.
Speedy is just like his name, fast and fabulous. He loves running around and pouncing, he adores toys and his favourite thing is to crash tackle Franklin! He's also extremely smoochy and affectionate and he really loves company. Both are very fond of the gentle dog they are living with in their foster home.
The boys will only be able to go to an indoor-only home, or a home with a VERY secure and safe garden. We are to happy to adopt kittens to homes with cat-containment systems, like Oscillot fence rollers or cat-max mesh.
To apply to become Speedy & Franklin's new forever family, please send an inquiry with plenty of info about your home, family and the kind of life you can offer these gorgeous boys.
Adoption details
Please direct messages to Catherine, our kitten adoption officer. Please provide as much details about your home and family as possible. We are a very busy vet hospital, so we prefer no phone calls :) Thank you.
IMPORTANT: All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
Please note we do not hold kittens - it's a first in, first served basis once we have reviewed your application and invited you to meet the kitten.
