About Ghost Plushie
Ghost is a nine month old long haired champagne ginger and white boy with an extra fluffy tail. He has a plush coat that is easily brushed (which he loves) and is just gorgeous. His whole demeanour is relaxed and accepting. He is the sweetest, most gentle laid back cat and will not defend himself, so he needs a home that is safe and secure.
He absolutely loves his toys. He will carry them around, bat them from here to there and rolls his badminton balls up and down the hallway. With his lovely thick coat he slides along the floor. He loves his food and has not been fussy. He loves other cats and shows interest in them. He will sit on your lap while you watch tv and is very interactive. Ghost would be an ideal emotional support cat for anyone needing gentle companionship and constant love. He will come and sit with you when you're upset and crying, and nudge you to hug him and cry into his fur. He is a healer in cat form, a very special and gentle soul indeed.

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from Cat People of Melbourne. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
Adoption details
To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a remote or in-person house check done, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
